Mid-Michigan PHC got involved in the
Polar Plunge to benefit
Michigan Special Olympics for
the first time in 2007.
By the time it was over, we
were
already thinking about
how to do things better NEXT YEAR.
The wind chills were 5 below , but
the water was a balmy 32 |
Non-MMPHC "Plungers" included this
guy dressed as a police officer ... |
| this guy dressed as a cow .... |
frat guys in their under-roos ... |
and a guy dressed as cupid. Well, it WAS
near Valentine's day. |
The MMPHC cheering section was out in force. |
Plungers and chickens then headed to
Leo's Lodge for the party! |
| And Parrot Heads know how to party! |
We were the second biggest fund raiser,
bringing in $2145 for Special Olympics! |
Cookies, hot chocolate, pizza and
"adult beveragtes" ... yeah, we
do hope to be back next year. |
